Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a boat tour from Zadar and not sure where to start? You are in the right place. We have put together honest answers to the questions we hear most often — from how to book and what to bring, to what happens if the weather turns and whether the tours are suitable for children.

Booking & Availability

In July and August, our tours fill up quickly — sometimes several days in advance. We recommend booking as soon as you know your dates. In May, June, September, and October, there is usually more flexibility, but we still encourage booking ahead to guarantee your spot.

Sometimes, yes. If we have availability, we are happy to accommodate last-minute bookings. The best way to check is to contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp — we will tell you honestly what is available.

Simply contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or through the contact form on our website. We do not use automated booking systems — you speak directly with us, we confirm your spot, and we sort out the details together.

Private tours are one of our specialities. You choose the destination, the pace, and the stops — we take care of everything else. Private tours are available for groups of any size. Contact us to discuss your needs and we will put together a personalised offer.

We are always happy to talk. If you are travelling as a larger group or have flexibility on dates, get in touch and we will find a price that works for everyone.

For group tours, the maximum is 12 guests per boat, which means it never feels crowded. For larger groups, we can arrange additional vessels — just contact us.

Yes. Our team speaks English, French, German, Polish, and Italian fluently. Just let us know your preferred language when booking.

The Boats

We work with a carefully selected fleet of trusted local vessels and match the right boat to each tour and season. Depending on your tour and time of year, you may be on a traditional wooden boat, a catamaran, or a smaller private vessel.

For the Royal Tour, we use a RIB speedboat — the only vessel operating from Zadar that can enter Golubinka cave and pass beneath the sea-level cliffs of Dugi Otok.

Yes. All our boats have shaded areas on deck. We still recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen — the Adriatic sun is strong, especially in summer.

Yes, and we encourage it! All tours include swimming stops. We also provide snorkelling equipment on tours where it is listed as included.

⚠️ Important: Swimming is only permitted when the boat is anchored — never while in motion.

Weather & Safety

Your safety always comes first. If sea conditions are not suitable for a safe and enjoyable tour, we will reschedule to another day or offer a full refund. We monitor weather forecasts closely and will always contact you in advance if there is any concern.

Generally very good. The Adriatic in shoulder season is warm, calmer than midsummer, and significantly less crowded. September in particular is one of our favourite months — the sea temperature is at its highest, the islands are quieter, and the light is extraordinary.

Yes. Most of our tours are suitable for families with children. The Sakarun Beach tour and Kornati Islands tours are particularly popular with families. Please let us know the ages of children in your group when booking so we can advise on the best option.
